DUTIES OF A STAFF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT IN HR-REPRESENTATIVE DEPARTMENT AT PT.TELKOM KANDATEL MALANG
AbstractIn developing a company, Â every entrepreneur must Â be able to manage theiremployee Â as Â good Â as Â possible. Â Every Â entrepreneur Â definitely Â wants Â competentemployee to work in their company. Â Thatâ€™s way every big company certainly has adepartment Â named Â Human Â Resource Â Developemnt Â (HRD). Â Human Â ResourceDevelopment is the framework for helping employees to develop their personal andorganizational Â skills, Â knowledge, Â and abilities. Â The focus of all Â aspects of HumanResource Development Â is Â on developing the most Â superior Â workforce so that Â theorganization and individual Â employees Â can accomplish their Â work goals Â in givingservice to customers. Â PT. TELKOM is one of many companies in Indonesia whichhas Human Resource Development to manage its employees. Â The writer conductedJob Â Orientation Â in Â PT. Â TELKOM to Â learn Â all Â activities Â in Â Human Â ResourceDevelopment and to feel the condition and the atmosphere in it.The writer chose PT. TELKOM Malang because of some reasons. The mainreason is the writer thought that PT. TELKOM Malang is one of the big companies inMalang, Â so Â it Â has Â a Â lot Â of Â employees, Â and Â there Â will Â be Â a Â Human Â ResourceDevelopment department which is smart, strong, professional and competent and canhandle the employees Â excellently because actually the writer Â wants to learn aboutHuman Resource Development and hope to become a manager of human resourcedevelopment as one of his expectations after he passes his study.The writer conducted Job Orientation since 19 January 2009 to 6 February2009. The writer Â was placed in HR-Reppresentative department Â in PT. Â TELKOMKandatel Malang. The writer had some responsibilities to support the job of HRD as astaff.Because of the activities the writer knows a kind of atmosphere of job fieldand knows some activities that usually are done by HR-Representative, including theactivities which relate with employees. The writer also knows about implementationof Appraisal Performance and Competence Development in PT. TELKOM althoughit is not too complete.Actually the writer Â got precious job position in HR-Representative of PT.TELKOM which Â is Â a Â Human Â Resource Â Development Â Department Â there, Â and thewriter Â got Â some Â experiences Â and Â knowledge Â about Â HRD.
